Cycles are usually divided into smaller sections called books. A cycle can have 1 or many books. Books contain accounts that require meter reading.
Log Transactions
Transactions based on Area, Billing Cycle and Book, per client can be logged in MeterSource.
Skip Codes
In addition to meter reads, when maintenance, safety or service issues are observed or encountered, such as broken touch pad, broken/obscured register glass, water leaks, etc., a communication code and reader comment must be entered as part of the transaction.
Performance and Penalty
In addition to meter reads, deductions can be tracked or applied to transactions to specific failures of the contractor/company.
Staff Assignment
Assign mutiple staff to transactions for each area, cycle and book.
Problem Codes
In addition to meter reads, problems with the meter, i.e., broken meter, broken meter box tops, dead meters, buried meters, meter leaks, high/low consumption, etc can be logged with the transaction.
Transaction Types
For each client, MeterSource can be set-up to allow a specific set of transactions e.g Check Reads, Call Backs, Residental, Commerical, collection etc.
Transaction Account Types
Transactions in MeterSource can be further classified into Categories eg Reading, Special Reads, Dispatch, Reading etc,
Meter Types
Log & track types of meters eg analog, digital, 4 dial, 5 dial etc.
Meter Brands
Log and track brands of meters e.g Sensus, Itron etc.
Meter Sizes
Log and track meter sizes eg 1 inch, 1 1/4 inch etc
