Client Transaction Types

Once the Client Profile has been completed and saved, the Meters Profile Tab, the Routes Tab, Transaction Type Tab and Skip Codes/Penalty Tab now are enabled. If the tabs are not enabled, it means the client information has not yet been saved.

For each client, there is a specific set of transaction types that can be set or are allowed. When an employee calls in to report work performed for a client, only transactions appearing in this list can be logged against the client.

The Transaction Types Tab will display all the transaction types that are applicable to the client.

Call backs Check Read, Commercial, Residential, Apartments, etc are examples of transaction types.

If the client is being set-up for the first time, there will be no transaction types. They will need to be set-up first. A message will be shown indicating that there no Transaction Types created.

The following information is required when a transaction type is entered. Transaction Code, Transaction Description, Bill Rate Per Meter, Pay Rate Per Meter, the start date of this transaction type, the end date of this transaction type and the account type created in the above section.

Mandatory fields are noted with a *
